Born in Italy, Valentino graduated with honors in at IUAV - University of Venice, studying Sustainable Architecture.

With professional experience in Europe, Australia and the United States, during his career Valentino had the opportunity to work with prestigious international practices, such as Pritzker Laureate
Renzo Piano Building Workshop
and BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group.


For his works on sustainable design, he has received several international awards, such as the
Sustainable Architecture Award - Fassa Bortolo 2012 and the
SAIE Selection 2011 Award.

In 2019 the European Commission awarded him with the European Sustainable Award as part of the team Workshop Reconstruction - MCA.
The United Nations awarded him with the Sustainable Cities and Human Settlements Award 2022, considered the Nobel Prize for
Sustainable Development.

Valentino has been nominated Jury Member of the New European Bauhaus Prizes by the European Commission and has also joint the Build Expo Advisory Board.
In 2023 he has been appointed Design Mentor by New European Bauhaus and EIT - European Institute of Innovation & Technology.
